JOURNEYING INTO PAST LIVES
For many of us, the self healing journey takes us into the uncharted realms of past lives. This experience is quite fascinating and liberating. Nine times out of 10 our past lives are mundane and have no great importance in a worldly sense. Average people experiencing average lives. And yet they can be immensely profound experiences. They open us to new awareness’s about our selves and our lives. They help us understand our life challenges and the relationships we have today. They are truly life changing and transformational.
It matters not whether one believes in their absolute existence or not. For as we know the past life experience can not be proven. It is important though, to remain open to their possibility. Complete disbelief can automatically block the process. For beliefs have the strength of steel to shut out the beauty and mysteries of the deeper soul mind.
Past lives do not necessarily surface immediately. When conducted from the higher self, guidance often takes us initially to the key challenges of this life, and then later opens to past life memory. Past life memory can then help explain how and why today's life challenge arose in the first place.
Past life remembrance takes us to those key moments in a life, where the original cause of a challenge is witnessed. This is a point in time where the core belief initiated. The core belief is generally emotionally charged. The original cause is then built upon throughout that life, and carried forward through future lives until a resolution is realized. These become our karmic life lessons to master.
For many of us a typical life challenge is experienced around love. When explored from a past life perspective, we often discover issues around love have trailed us for eons. The original cause often creates beliefs such as: ‘love is painful’ or ‘love hurts’ or ‘I can‘t trust love.’ These are core beliefs founded upon our unworthiness to know true love. Over time they build upon themselves. They are ever expanding thought forms, becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. This prophecy can make it difficult at best to experience the beauty of authentic love.
We discover within our past lives our loved ones and family members. We find that we have played out the lessons of love many times over. We have been the oppressed and the oppressor, experiencing all aspects of love denied. It is because of these past life experiences, we too often draw those souls back into our life today. These can all be considered soul mates of one kind or another. They are bound to us by powerful karmic forces, until we realize we can become totally free. Once liberated from their karmic pull, our relationships have the opportunity to grow, becoming more fulfilled, peaceful and truly loving.
My wife and I, have experienced numerous such lives. Playing out all aspects of love denied. Yet in this life we have chosen to explore our past lives; freeing ourselves from love’s painful denial. And through the healing process our love continues to grow. A deepening acceptance of one another, little by little opening our hearts to the divine in each other. And so we have both found the rewards for such endeavors, uncovering lifetime upon lifetime together. And through this journey of discovery, we have realized without a doubt, this is the lifetime to truly master our life lessons together. We are finding that our life continues to get better and better upon this grand journey of ours.
The most important lives to understand often arise clearly and powerfully. It can feel like an intense vision, where we experience all the senses of taste, touch, smell, hearing, feeling and seeing. We become immersed in the experience. These experiences tend to sit nearest the surface. They are found in what we call the deeper mind, just below the surface of the waking or worldly mind. The less relevant past life experiences tend to sit further back in the soul mind. These lives have less impact upon this lifetime and tend to be reviewed more quickly or fleetingly.
Our past lives sit indelibly imprinted upon the soul. They can be influenced by our
willingness to walk the healing path of self realization. The soul is holographic
and multi dimensional in nature, where past and future exist only in the now. Thus
we are able to generate positive change in this very moment, irrespective of historical
time frames. For all is fluid and ever changing in the vast journey of the soul.
